From March 2005 through August 2005, I was on air at WXLY-FM in Charleston, SC. I was given my first airshift on my eighteenth birthday (March 22nd), working 12am-2am Monday-Saturday. Right after graduation (late May) I was promoted to 7pm-12am Sunday-Friday. However, my shifts were never live, instead voice tracked using our powerful on air system, Prophet's NexGen. (We switched to NexGen about three months before I left. Before NexGen we had another system [from Prophet] called Audio Wizard....dubbed the Automation system from Hell.)

Keep in mind: 1) there were my first air checks; and 2) scheduling the music was not my job.
